Receive Money via European IBAN
What is an international account and what is it used for?
The Morpara International Account allows you to receive money transfers from banks, institutions, and individuals abroad. It is linked to your Morpara account and automatically deposits the transferred funds into your Morpara balance.
What is a European Euro IBAN?
The Euro IBAN feature allows you to have an IBAN just like European citizens do. It enables you to receive transfers from the entire SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) region without the need for SWIFT. You only need to provide the sender with your IBAN instead of SWIFT details.
Your Morpara International Account’s Euro IBAN starts with “GB.” You can receive transfers directly from any bank, individual, or institution that sends to GB IBANs.
How can I receive money from PayPal?
You can receive money from PayPal to your Morpara account by using the EURO IBAN and account details provided in your Morpara International Account. To do this, the sender’s PayPal account must be able to transfer funds to an IBAN starting with “GB.”
Requirements:
-
Open an International Account and generate a EURO IBAN via the Morpara mobile app.
-
Share your EURO IBAN and, if needed, any additional codes with the sender.
-
Ensure that the sender’s bank, institution, or PayPal account supports transfers to GB IBANs.
Can I send money to PayPal?
Absolutely! Since you can transfer money to banks, individuals, and institutions located within the European Payments Area and the United Kingdom, you can also send money to accounts like PayPal and Wise that meet these criteria.
From which countries can I receive money to my international account?
You can receive money from the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) using your Morpara International Account.
Where is my international account valid?
Your Morpara International Account is valid for institutions, individuals, and banks across the entire European Payments Area (SEPA) that can send transfers to GB IBANs.
A Euro IBAN is a general term for IBANs that enable international money transfers, primarily within regions such as SEPA, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
How can I get a Euro IBAN?
After registering on the Morpara app, you need to create an International Account from the "Accounts" menu.
Once you have created your International Account, you will be able to see your European Euro IBAN.
How can I check or view my Euro IBAN?
You can find your Euro IBAN among your IBANs. Your international account contains your Euro IBAN details, which allow you to receive Euro transfers.
Is there a difference between a Euro IBAN and a regular IBAN?
A Euro IBAN is an international bank account number that allows you to receive Euro-denominated transfers from Europe and the United Kingdom. Since your Morpara Euro IBAN starts with "GB", you can receive payments from any account that supports transfers to GB IBANs — and you won’t pay any transaction fees.
The main difference from a standard (TR) IBAN is that some institutions do not allow transfers to Turkish IBANs (starting with TR) due to regulatory or operational reasons. However, because your Euro IBAN starts with GB, you can receive payments from platforms like PayPal, Wise, Stripe, and others without any issue.
Another key benefit of the Euro IBAN is that the sender doesn't need to pay a SWIFT fee, and as a Morpara user, you won’t pay a receiving fee either.
